EML – English Mass in Ljubljana

Expats, exchange students, tourists and visitors welcome!
The St. Joseph’s EML is the only English language Catholic Mass in Ljubljana. This international mass is presided by Fr Damjan Ristić  SJ. It takes place every Sunday at 10 am.

It is intended to give an opportunity to non-Slovenian Christians to worship in a language they understand best. At the same time it offers an opportunity for Christians to socialize and to support each other in prayer and deed.
A special sheet with the text of the Order of the Mass in English is made available to each participant in order for them to be able to fully participate. In addition, the English Mass wants to be inclusive by offering non-Roman Catholic Christians the chance to participate in Christian worship in accordance with agreements between different Churches. We offer catechism classes for children and adults wishing to receive sacraments or just grow in faith.
